Manufacturer Warranties
Most roofing materials come with manufacturer-backed warranties that protect against defects in the product itself.
This may include:
Asphalt shingle material warranties
Roofing system component warranties
Coverage periods based on product type
If your project includes new materials, you will receive documentation outlining the manufacturer’s warranty terms, coverage length, and any registration requirements.
We will review those details with you so you understand exactly what is covered.
Roof Maxx® Flexibility Warranty
Roof Maxx® roof rejuvenation treatments come with a 5-Year Transferable Flexibility Warranty, providing peace of mind that your investment is protected.
What the Roof Maxx® Warranty Covers
Roof Maxx® guarantees that treated asphalt shingles will remain flexible and in a serviceable condition for five (5) years from the date of treatment.
Flexible shingles are better able to handle daily contraction and expansion and to resist the effects of high winds, rain, snow, and hail.
If treated shingles lose their proper operating flexibility (as determined by the Standardized Flexibility Test), your Certified Roof Maxx Dealer will retreat the affected area(s) on a prorated basis over the 60-month warranty period.
The Roof Maxx® Warranty remains valid even if your manufacturer’s warranty is void due to time or transfer restrictions.
Important Exclusions
This warranty does not cover granule coating loss, leaks, or faulty installation of the existing roof. Damage from Acts of God, such as wind, ice/snow, or hail, should be covered under your property owner’s insurance policy.
If your roof qualifies for Roof Maxx®, you will receive documentation confirming your coverage period and treatment details.
Workmanship Protection
Quality installation matters just as much as materials.
A licensed contractor completes all roofing work, and a written guarantee backs workmanship. Specific terms depend on the scope of the project and will be clearly outlined in your proposal before work begins.
You’ll know exactly what is covered before signing off on any work.
What Warranties Typically Do Not Cover
While warranties provide important protection, they generally do not cover:
Damage from severe storms or natural disasters
Structural issues unrelated to roofing work
Lack of routine maintenance
Unauthorized alterations to the roof
